Privacy & safety
This page explains, in plain words, what Sissy Locker keeps about you and who can see it.
What we keep
- Your account: username, email address and a scrambled (hashed) password. We never see your password itself.
- What you add: your profile, posts, pictures, tasks, logs, wardrobe and anything else you put on the site.
- Security records: when and where (IP address and browser) your account logs in, and failed login attempts. These protect your account.
- Optional profile details (age, location, interests and limits) only if you fill them in. You choose who can see them.
Who can see what
- Your posts and pictures: whoever you choose (everyone, or friends only).
- Your keyholder can see the things on your account that keyholders manage.
- Private photos (Locktober, task proof and check-in photos) are only shown to you, your keyholder, the people you choose to share them with, and the site admins. Every time an admin opens one only because they're an admin, it's recorded.
- Private messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Admins don't read them. The only exception is when you report someone and tick "let the admins read my messages" - then the admins can read only your messages with that person, only while they look into it, and every look is recorded.
- Admins can see account details and the security records above, so they can keep the site safe.
How long we keep things
- Locktober photos are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- When you delete your account, your private photos are deleted with it.
- Backups of the site are kept for a limited time and stored privately.
Keeping your account safe
- Switch on two-factor login on your Security page, so a stolen password isn't enough to get in.
- "Log out everywhere else" on the Security page ends every other session using your account.
Safety
- Sissy Locker is for adults only. If you think someone is under 18, report them from their profile; their account is hidden while an admin checks.
- To get a picture of you removed (including intimate pictures shared without your consent), use the Content Removal page. These are handled first.
- Anything illegal involving minors is reported to the authorities.
Questions
If you have a question about your data or want a copy of it, send a request through the Content Removal page and an admin will get back to you.
